The Obsidian 16 is truly a combination of both control and power with a slight emphasis on control. The surface grit enhances spin capability. The longer handle allows you to comfortably utilize a two handed back hand. The look of the paddle is absolutely 🔥. Great job Gamma!!
Two Obsidian Reviews

I'm a brand ambassador and here are two reviews I received from customers who purchased an Obsidian: Wowzer, just wow!!!. Excellent power, great control and the spin action on the ball coming off that paddle is tremendous. I love it. I'll send more and vid clips and comments next week. Everyone at the courts wants to touch it and play with it so response should be very good!!! Thank you!!! Other customer: Thank you ____. I ordered a new Obsidian paddle on Friday when it launched. It was delivered yesterday and I played with it for the first time this morning. I added some lead tape and an over grip to make it heavier. It was still fast in my hands and I had plenty of power when needed. I really like this paddle and will recommend it to other players in the area. Thank again!
Great paddle - Gamma has a winner!!

Received my Obsidian 16 paddle this week - and have already played over 20 games with it. The paddle is lightning fast at the kitchen line and very well balanced. It has great touch and control, as well as phenomenal spin. A number of friends have tried mine - and have ordered their own Obsidian paddles already. Many of my female friends like the lightweight design and have commented the handle fits their hand better than other paddles. Great price for a carbon paddle!
New Obsidian 16 adds pop and spin to bag of tricks!

Love the responsiveness of my Obsidian 16! Nice pop off the paddle, with great feedback for the softer control shots. The biggest difference between this paddle and my Hellbender is the amount of spin I can get with the raw carbon face of the Obsidian!
Both Deserve A Place in Your Bag

With over 12 games test-driving both the 13mm and 16mm it is pretty clear each paddle deserves a place in my bag. The 16mm has the softer feel and touch, plus the ability to create a wicked amount of spin. The 13mm trades off a bit of each for a solid, crisp feel with more potential power/pace. I am finding that having both paddles available provides me more flexibility in adapting to varying playing conditions.
