GAMMA Pickleball Camps is committed to providing our participants with the skills they need to improve the way they play the game, no matter what their skill level may be. This is all thanks to our amazing instructors who offer a learning opportunity that is fun, engaging, and inspiring. With that being said, we wanted to introduce all of our amazing instructors to our campers. This week on our blog we are introducing Bobbie Phoumy. How long have you been playing pickleball?
How long have you been involved with the camps?
Since the program started.
What is your greatest pickleball memory?
My greatest pickleball memory was winning a Gold medal match in the 5.0 age 35+ Women's Doubles in the 2019 U.S. Open in Naples.
What paddle do you play with?
I'm currently playing with the 505.
Do you prefer to play singles or doubles?
I prefer playing doubles.
What is your favorite thing about the camps?
My favorite thing about the camps is the people I meet along the way.
What are three words you would use to describe the Never Stop Playing Pickleball Camps?
Fun, Impactful, and Rewarding.
What piece of advice would you have for someone who is a beginner pickleball player?
Show up with an open mind and a positive outlook and you'll leave a better player.
Where would be your dream location to teach a camp?
What is your favorite thing to do outside of pickleball?
