GAMMA® has over 50 years of experience in racquet sports, built on a legacy of innovation and performance. It began in 1974 when Dr. Harry Ferrari, a nuclear engineer and avid player, developed the patented GAMMA irradiation process to improve synthetic strings. That breakthrough led to GAMMA Gut, which held the #1 string title from the United States Racquet Stringer’s Association for 23 years.
